Weekend Service: Stone Island Spring/Summer season 2017

This is by far the most effective SPW piece i`ve ever bought. Normally i’m not that keen on latest seasons, however after i heard there shall be a yellow reflective jacket released in spring/summer season 2011 i wished this jacket so badly. There have all the time been reflective jackets within the last years, at all times in blue and silver. Great jackets, but yellow is a “must have” color in my eyes. When i noticed the vintage yellow marina reflective jacket i assumed to myself: “This color needs to be re-released!” And right here we go. Truly the jacket has a lime-green color in non-reflective state, a very good summer time color, wich makes a great match with the white details. Only when light hits the jacket it displays in a vivid yellow.Answerable for that is a garment that is made from a particular excessive refraction fabric capable of reflecting even the slightest amount of light, similar to a single torch beam at the distance of 300 metres or weak moon light. The fabric is coated with 1000’s of glass microspheres making the jacket visible in even complete darkness. It has a concealed hood, wich will be hidden within the collar in the event you don`t like hoods, but i think a hood makes it even cooler..

The opinions concerning the latest Stone Island efforts are very different at gilet the moment. We have now the collectors who nonetheless have love for the old days of SPW and dont rate the newest efforts nearly as good because the vintage items and we have the individuals who nonetheless assume Stone Island releases very nice jackets. Effectively after i look at the current S/S vary i can only second that. The reflective, the heat reactive jacket, the ventile, simply to name a few. I believe the entire vary is desirable and once i look on the upcoming autumn/winter vary and the new ICE jacket, wich will be launched… I think Stone Island still has much to offer.
